Too tall for Docs???????

Hey, so I am 5'11, and I have been dying to buy a pair of docs, but all my life I have actively stayed away from high tops and boots. I feel like they'll look super weird on me, plus I wear sneakers most of the time (low tops) and I just can't imagine what I'd look like. So the question is 5'11 too tall for Docs?

First pair

I just bought the womens 1460 pascal boots and I have been trying to break them in. I have been wearing them around the house and everything. The seam on top of my foot is tight on my feet. Does that part usually stretch or should I try to ship them back and get a bigger size? I’m usually a 9 1/2 in shoes so I sized down.

Not sure what ones to get

I don’t know whether to get vegan 1460 or Jadon’s. I’m plus size so I don’t want the boots to make my legs look chunkier than they are. I do have wide feet.
