True to the original intent of Curry Village, our tent cabins feature wooden frames wrapped and covered with canvas, wooden floors and wooden doors. While they do have electric lighting, they don’t have electrical outlets, phones, TVs or plumbing. Guests are provided with sheets, wool blankets, pillows and towels during their stay.
Do the heated tent cabins have electric outlets?
All the canvas tent cabins have bearboxes (food storage lockers). The Curry Village website did not mention that the heated tent cabins have electric outlets. I was told that yes, they do, but you have to unplug the heater fan to use the electric plug to, for example, charge your cell phone.
Is there a free shuttle bus to Curry Village?
Below is a picture of free shuttle bus stop number 14 on the left and stop number 20 on the right. There are no TVs, phones or refrigerators at the Curry Village tent cabins, cabins with a bath or at Stoneman Cottage.
Where can I find accessible parking at Curry Village?

Is there electricity in the Curry Village tent cabins?
Curry Village - Tents An electrical light, linens, and towels. The Tent Cabins do not come with a private bath or electricity but have use of the communal shower/bathhouses just a short walk away which do have electrical outlets.

The 'general store' opens at 8 and there is free hot water at the coffee machines (red tab). You have to pay for the coffee if you want some but the hot water is free. Also just outside the general store and inside the main dining hall are great water fountains for bottles if you want clean water.

The Curry Village cabin tents are situated in the far east part of Yosemite Valley. The front desk office is located near the Meadow Grill & Gift Shop.
Food In Yosemite
If you plan to stay in Curry Village, keep in mind that food is not allowed inside the cabins and can only be cooked at designated picnic areas ( the closest one is a mile away ). Anything scented has to be stored in bear lockers as every year bears damage nearly 100 cars and thousands of dollars in property.
How Many Days Should You Stay?
Two to three nights is the perfect amount to stay at the Curry Village tents. This will give you plenty of time to drive around Yosemite to see a few of the top sights and attractions.
