If possible, checking just the manifold on the head without the gasket might reveal something. I suspect somewhere along the line something will catch your eye as not looking quite right. Then we get to figure out how, why, and what to do about it.#N#I have once seen a head that someone ported too enthusiastically that no gasket in the store would have sealed. Big rust pits in the sealing surface of a manifold, hidden cracks, etc. You never know. Hopefully it's something simple.
