I use this site to convert m2 to builder's squares. Convert squares to square metre - Conversion of Measurement Units 550m2 is a 60 square house - that's big, but not the biggest - I have friends in 70 and 80 square houses, to accommodate extended family. My previous PPOR was 55 squares. Current one is slightly smaller.
