Mar 24, 2017 · Only show this user. To the OP : Pop the muffler off and inspect the piston/cylinder/ rings fer scoring, sticking, etc. If that checks out, you might have a sheared flywheel/ key. It would still be gettin' good spark, just at the wrong time. Could be an issue with the cam gear/ valve train.
