The end of each module has a quiz, but you don't need to pass the quiz to continue to the next module. There is a final exam, which consists of 150 questions, and you must receive a 70% or higher on it to complete the course. However, you may take the exam an unlimited number of times.

All Florida Insurance exams are multiple choice and require a 70% score to pass. All exams are administered on a computer at the testing center. You will be provided with a dry erase sheet of paper and an erasable marker to make notes.
How long does it take to review an exam?
Exam reviews are available within ninety (90) days of your original examination date. You can view every question you got wrong along with the correct answer. There is no cost to review an exam, but you can only review the last exam attempt one (1) time.
When should I take my exam?
We encourage students to take the state exam within 5-10 days of completing their training at Larson Educational Services. During our many years in the education business, we have seen students have great success utilizing our recommended timeline, which is as follows:
When can I expect my exam results?
The exam is administered on a desktop computer system and your official score report is printed out and handed to you immediately upon completion of the exam. It will be marked PASS or FAIL. The score report will show your score and a diagnostic breakdown of your exam. The diagnostic breakdown shows how you performed in the key areas of the exam.
What should I do if I fail the state exam?
NOTE: There is a limit of five (5) exam attempts for the same exam type during a one-year time period.
How long does a 70 percent pass score last?
Regardless of which exam you take, a 70% score is required to pass. A passing score is valid for one (1) year from the passing date. You will be required to re-take the exam if you do not complete the licensing process within that time-frame.
