Not sure what you are seeing. Looks like a darn good claw to me. Tiny cracks and striations match and continue across the bone as they should. Areas of red are common on Kem Kem fossils and are just a thin encrustation of matrix, easily removed with a micro blaster. Good luck with it.

It's easy to get overly paranoid with fossils, but there are actually many good ones out there.
