Drying time is longer with the Sandtex which is bad if you think there’s a chance of rain that day, but the slower drying time does help you keep a wet edge on hot days. Opacity is ok, I’d say it’s better than the Johnstone’s, but not quite as god as the Dulux.

Bought 2.5 ltr white gloss to use for painting exterior windows. Was fine for that, used about 1/6th of tin. Tin then closed for 9 months and kept indoors. On opening to use again found a thin skin on the paint. Tried to stir the paint found it was like water and no thickness or sediment at bottom of the tin.
