It does cost $3 to park and it’s limited space and the machine ONLY take dollar bills (no larger) but thankfully it’s does take credit/debit cards. There’s port o potty in the entrance if you need to use before the long hike. The sign for the whiting ranch parking area/entrance is small and in brown color so once you make the U turn on Portola, start looking on your right side for the sign and entrance. enjoy your hikes, everyone.
