CC debt paid off!!
My 1st post, I’ve been lurking for a few months. I just paid off my last credit card debt, $6527.00. I feel so relieved. Still have a mortgage & car payment (0% interest). Baby steps.
No more car payments!
I took advantage of the crazy used car market and sold my luxury car to CarMax. I owed ~$17.5k and got $21k for it. I purchased a beater truck from a family member for $2k CASH, and I've never been happier driving a 17 year old truck. Saving ~$500 a month on the car payment, and ~$70 a month on insurance.
Beans and rice for the next few months
I have around $11k credit card debt. Just started watching Dave cause I’m desperate to get out of this. $11k might not seem like a lot for a lot of people but I only make around $36k a year. Next few months I’ll be living cheap and putting every penny I can towards debt paying off these credit cards. Feels good.
Today we celebrate freedom

We did it and you can too!
Just wanted to say that we followed the Dave Ramsey style of paying off our debt, after many years of saying, “His way won’t work for us.” If finally paid off, we paid off a little over $40,000 and it is life changing! Everyday we can relax and enjoy life and just look to the future.
