Do you prefer plastic or metal hoods on a John Deere?
Never had a plastic hood crack on any Deere I've ever had, but I've had metal hoods get dented. Vastly prefer the plastic. I just bought (today) a 2000 model 4700. As I was looking at it the owner closed the hood and it cracked. I'll be getting a new hood I’m interested in learning about if y’all are annoyed by expensive, plastic John Deere hoods.
