The following ten airports will all see BA's A380s next year, of which Dubai, Los Angeles, and Miami already do. The next up is the 5,620-mile (9,045km) link to Johannesburg from February, although it may be pushed back again because of the Omicron variant.
A day in July
Looking ahead to randomly chosen July 10th, BA has scheduled nine A380 departures from Heathrow, as shown below. Note that there's no Los Angeles, Hong Kong, or Vancouver, all previously served by the type. Neither Hong Kong nor Vancouver are due to see the type at any point in 2022.
More Plane, More Capacity, More Comfort
The A380 — sometimes known as “The Whale” — is by far the largest jet in British Airways’ fleet. These aircraft have the capacity to carry a whopping 469 passengers across their 2 levels.
