I’ve been on 20mg for a month. I do feel a stimulant effect. It’s not too bothersome. From an anti depressant aspect I don’t want to have unrealistic expectations about increasing my dosage, but it would be nice to experience some feelings of joy and pleasure in my life. Currently, my daily mood is usually kind of a depressed apathy.

How do I minimize any side effects? I know you’re supposed to take it with food, but I also read some stuff that said taking it with fat/protein specifically is better than with carbs? I was super excited when my doc suggested this but once I read about the GI problems I got concerned bc I have a history of IBS-D. It’s gone now but still, oof.
Switching from Viibryd to something else?
My insurance won't cover Viibryd anymore because it's not generic and as far as I know, the generic vilazodone won't be coming out until June of 2022. I looked into the savings plan through the manufacturer and still would have to pay what I consider a lot for it.
