This special item can be found by going to two places in Midgard: Iron Cove and the Isle of Death. These areas are both accessible by using the boat in the Lake of Nine once the water drops a second time after the World Serpent rises and shifts.
Solve the Iron Cove Runic Door Puzzle
Now, it’s time for a little puzzle. You’ll need to find and turn three runic mechanisms to match the seals on the runic door at the back of Iron Cove. They aren’t difficult to find, but you’ll need to keep an eye out.
What is the purpose of the Pristine Ore in God of War?
Pristine Ore, Dust and Scales of the Realm are resource items in God of War. They are needed to upgrade a powerful armor to its full potential. Pristine Ore is used for the chest piece, Dust for the waist, and Scales for wrist armour.
Where is the dust in Tyr's Temple?
Found only at Stone Falls. Stone Falls is northeast from the central part of the Lake of Nine, and Tyr’s Temple. The dust is inside a legendary chest there . In order to reach it, you’ll need shock arrows.
Where is the last runic post in Iron Cove?
You’ll see it in the distance while standing near the wooden fence. The final runic post is near the broken ship at Iron Cove. You have to climb to the prowl and look toward the water and – you’ll see the red pots. Shoot them with your axe, so they can explode and release the final runic post from the metal.
Where is the light elf outpost?
Found only at the Light Elf Outpost. The Light Elf Outpost is on the northwestern side of the Lake of the Nine. The goal here is to reach the top of the island. Use the blue crystals to create pathways. The final step will require you to open the gate leading to the top.

Where to find the flawless stone in Lake of Nine?
Description: A flawless stone containing a mixture of rare metals. Used to upgrade powerful armour. Found only in the Iron Cove. When the water in the Lake of Nine has receded twice, head to the Isle of Death, in the southwestern part of the lake. Once on the beach, continue forward and turn left after the first rock.
Where To Find Pristine Ore In God Of War

You do have to progress the game to the point where you interact with the World Serpent twice and the water of the lake drops a second time.
Iron Cove Runic Door Puzzle
You will need to solve a simple puzzle. You need to turn the mechanisms to match the seals on the door. This is pretty straightforward. Two of the mechanisms can be seen from the boat that is split in half. The third one can be seen from the ledge near the runic door.
Where is the Light Elf Outpost in Lake of Nine?
You can access the resource only when the water has receded twice. Light Elf Outpost is on the northwest side of Lake of Nine, you will have to reach on top of the island. You can spot it easily, there are a lot of ruins around.
Where are the Rune Signs in the game?
You will have to locate three rune signs, keep moving towards the left side. The first sign is near the plateau with the Runic doors, for the second you will have to go down and take left. At a distance, you will spot a wooden fence. For the final one, you will have to go near the broken ship.
