How do you handle uncaught exception in Java?
The try-catch is the simplest method of handling exceptions. Put the code you want to run in the try block, and any Java exceptions that the code throws are caught by one or more catch blocks. This method will catch any type of Java exceptions that get thrown. This is the simplest mechanism for handling exceptions.
How do you handle exceptions in Angular?
One traditional way of handling errors in Angular is to provide an ErrorHandler class. This class can be extended to create your own global error handler. This is also a useful way to handle all errors that occur, but is mostly useful for tracking error logs.
What is the function of the $timeout service?
The $timeout service can be used to call another JavaScript function after a given time delay. The $timeout service only schedules a single call to the function. For repeated calling of a function, see $interval later in this text.

decorators
Use a decorator, at config time using the $provide service, on the $exceptionHandler service to perform custom actions when exceptions occur.
Exception Catchers
Create a factory that exposes an interface to catch and gracefully handle exceptions.
Why am I writing this
There might have been times where you would have wished to have better control over your error logging system. You might have thought about implementing an exception handling mechanism for your angularjs application but what might have been stopping you is the amount of code that you would have to write to achieve it.
The problem
Lets start with analyzing some code that you might have written or might have come across in your application.
The Idea
If you are thinking why would you want to log your client side exceptions to your database in the first place? You could implement this as a plugin, for example imagine a situation where you are just unable to fathom what is going wrong for a particular user because he uses a particular browser/OS/Machine etc which your application may not support completely.
The API endpoint
Before we can modify the $exceptionHandler, lets take a look at the logger service that will log the exceptions into the database. You can skip this portion if your are not too focused about the API endpoint for now. I have included this for the completeness of the article.
The Conclusion
If you view any network debugging tool like fiddler or of the browser, you can see that the details are submitted to the server.
Error logging in Angular
The ErrorHandler class in Angular 2+ provides a hook for centralized exception handling. The default implementation of ErrorHandler prints error messages to the console. This service is very simple by design. To intercept the error handling we need to write a custom handler.
Basic configuration for handling the error in Angular
Let’s understand how error handlers work in both frameworks. In Angular 2+, error handling can be done by creating a CustomErrorHandler which implements ErrorHandler. In AngularJS 1.X we can extend $exceptionHandler to take more action and gather context when errors occur.
Production error monitoring with Rollbar
In real-world production applications, it’s important to monitor errors so you understand your user’s experience. It’s best to monitor errors so you’re the first to know and can fix the issue before more customers are affected.
Installing Rollbar
To install Rollbar in Angular 2+, simply run the command given in the Angular 2+ tab example below. In Angular JS 1.X, you need to follow some simple steps, shown in the AngularJS 1.X tab example.
Configuring Rollbar with your Angular app
In Angular 2+, you’ll need to update your application’s CustomErrorHandler; we will rename it to RollbarErrorHandler. Remember to add your own access token which you received earlier! You’ll also notice that we added a function called rollbarFactory in the example.
Testing the sample application
You can test if everything was set up correctly by opening a console window and entering:
Manually handling errors with Rollbar
You may decide to manually handle errors. This gives you extra control over the information passed to Rollbar. Just inject Rollbar into the corresponding Angular component. The code looks something like this:
What is a template in Angular?
• In Angular, templates are written with HTML that contains Angular-specific elements and attributes. Angular combines the template with information from the model and controller to render the dynamic view that a user sees in the browser. In other words, if your HTML page is having some Angular specific elements/attributes it becomes a template in AngularJS.#N#• Transfer data to and from the UI:Angular.js helps to eliminate almost all of the boiler plate like validating the form, displaying validation errors, returning to an internal model and so on which occurs due to flow of marshalling data.#N#• Deep linking allows you to encode the state of application in the URL so that it can be bookmarked. The application can then be restored from the URL to the same state.#N#• All of the above
What is the ng-model directive?
• ng-model directive binds the values of AngularJS application data to HTML input controls. #N#• ng-model directive creates a model variable which can be used with the html page and within the container control having ng-app directive.#N#• Both of the above.#N#• None of the above.
Can Angular expressions be added to HTML?
• Angular expressions can be added inside the HTML templates.#N#• Angular expressions doesn’t support control flow statements (conditionals, loops, or exceptions).#N#• Angular expressions support filters to format data before displaying it.#N#• All of the above
Is AngularJS secure?
• Like any other technology, AngularJS is not impervious to attack. Angular does, however, provide built-in protection from basic security holes including cross-site scripting and HTML injection attacks. AngularJS does round-trip escaping on all strings for you and even offers XSRF protection for server-side communication.#N#• AngularJS was designed to be compatible with other security measures like Content Security Policy (CSP), HTTPS (SSL/TLS) and server-side authentication and authorization that greatly reduce the possible attack vectors and we highly recommended their use.#N#• Transfer data to and from the UI:Angular.js helps to eliminate almost all of the boiler plate like validating the form, displaying validation errors, returning to an internal model and so on which occurs due to flow of marshalling data.#N#• All of the above
