I have the factory tow mirrors and mine did the same thing. I pulled them apart and applied a generous amount of silicone on the contact surfaces of both mirrors. Be sure to clean dust dirt and mud off the surfaces or you are just wasting your time. This prevented the mirrors from shaking tremendously.
