How does AC3 show its age?
Another place where AC3 shows its age is mission structure . If you just blast through the main sequences and ignore the multitude of side missions, a staggering percentage of your time is spent watching cutscenes and then walking slowly along with another character while they rattle off expositional dialogue, only to get to your destination and trigger another cutscene. When you get down to business the missions themselves are pretty repetitive and the few times you have to play as Desmond are some of the worst parts. The final sequence, which I won't spoil even after all these years, remains unchanged, and if you beat the game last gen, you know that's not a compliment. There are some quality-of-life updates that make quite a difference between playing the remaster and popping your Xbox 360 copy into your Xbox One X, however. One of the most welcome is a small but tremendous improvement to the minimap that changes the nondescript red dots showing enemy locations into icons that now let you know, at a glance, which direction an enemy is looking and what type they are. For example, rooftop guards show up as teardrop-shaped red icons with crosshairs on them. It makes for a much better, less frustrating experience when you're trying to be stealthy.

Is Modern Warfare remastered a downgrade?from reddit.com
The remaster was definitely a downgrade. The faces are atrocious, view distance looks not improved whatsoever, and everything just looks brighter. Just look at Modern Warfare remastered that's a real remaster that actually took some care from the devs

Is Assassin's Creed a bad game?
The setting, although beautiful at times, is actually a bad fit for an Assassin's Creed game. Boston and New York, being relatively new cities at the time the game is set, don't have many tall buildings to climb and navigate with. It's mostly short wooden houses, with none of the vast, dramatic architecture of other games in the series.
Is the Remaster a shiny thing?
Speaking of shiny things, the remaster looks a little prettier too. Softer shadows, more natural lighting, and warm, gold-tinged colour grading have given the visuals a boost, which is particularly evident in the sun-dappled, snow-covered forests of the frontier. However, some details such as character's faces feel, oddly enough, less detailed. A side effect of the new lighting, perhaps, rather than any kind of texture downgrade. But it's difficult to say for sure. It's no Odyssey, but it's way more handsome than it was six years ago.

Is Assassin's Creed 3 remastered better than the original?
Basically, Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered is better looking, but that’s about it. It’s the same game for better or worse, complete with all the bugs and awkwardness that were disliked the first time around, but also with the stuff that people enjoyed. The bugs are too numerous for me to really recommend it, but they were there last time round as well. If you could ignore them then, you can probably ignore them now and enjoy the game’s positives, but it’s still a shame that Ubisoft couldn’t have rounded off more of the rough edges in this remaster.
Is Assassin's Creed 3 remastered?
Assassin’s Creed 3 is remembered with mixed feelings. Whilst there are plenty who remember Connor’s adventure with fondness thanks to improved combat, pretty vistas and lots of involved side content, others found the slow pace of the story, the dreadful dullness of Connor himself as a character and some bugginess underwhelming. Despite a more interesting main character, the same can be said for Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation, which is also included in the package. Whichever way you lean on either game, Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered is unlikely to change your mind.

Is AC 3 better on Xbox 360 or PC?
After playing AC 3 on my Xbox 360 and then playing the remastered on pc, I can tell you the lighting and texture upgrades make a huge difference to the world, it gives it another level of atmosphere the 360 version didn't have and is much nicer on the eyes. Also, the weapon wheel update and being able to free aim is a great quality of life change.
